Economic Summit

The economic summit carried live over C-SPAN brought an image of ourselves rarely seen: Actual people involved in actual thinking, communicating and work that inspires them and others. Not celebrities portraying a CEO. Not commentators having an opinion about the President-elect’s activities. Not an actor pretending to like a product he is selling in an ad that advertises something that is not what it claims to be.

Most often when we do see real people on TV it is only because they are the victims or perpetrators of a crime. The economic summit showed us for who we really are.
