In Marina girls’ basketball tournament:

Huntington Beach 67, Rancho Alamitos 57--Clare Walker scored 27 points and Deana Itow had 14 for Huntington Beach.

Newport Harbor 69, El Toro 24--Kala Ross scored 24 points to lead Newport Harbor (3-4).

Ocean View 51, Bishop Montgomery 50--With 18 seconds remaining, Stephanie McNamara made two free throws to give Ocean View a 51-48 advantage. Theresa Martini had 10 points for Ocean View (5-4). Natalie Graham and Shelley Dungo scored 15 and 14 points, respectively, for the tournament’s defending champion, Bishop Montgomery (3-3).

Marina 80, Katella 37--Jessica Trippet had 14 points to lead host Marina (5-2) past Katella (6-1). Chris Carillo of Katella led all scorers with 21 points.

Mission Viejo 55, Marina JV 26--Kortney Okura had 14 points to lead Mission Viejo.

Estancia 66, Connelly 19--Laura Czingula had 13 points to lead Estancia (8-2) past Connelly (1-6).

In the Costa Mesa Tournament:

University 44, Santa Barbara San Marcos 31--Jennifer Stanley scored 14 points to lead University (4-3) to a first-round victory.

San Luis Obispo 33, Santa Margarita 25--Tara Moss had seven points for Santa Margarita (1-5).
