I’d like to publicly congratulate Congressman-elect Buck McKeon on his general election victory and also thank the Los Angeles Times for its fair and unbiased coverage of the campaign.

I’d also like to thank reporter Jack Cheevers for his professionalism and accuracy. In a difficult and ever-changing political year, The Times provided its readers with a very valuable service.
