SIMI VALLEY : Outage Affects 2,800 Customers
A power outage struck southeast Simi Valley on Tuesday, knocking out service to 2,400 customers there and an additional 400 others in the northwest San Fernando Valley, Southern California Edison officials said.
The cause of the 7:15 p.m. outage was unknown Tuesday, but by 9:30 p.m. power had been restored to all but 245 customers in the Chatsworth area, said Carol Larson, area manager for Southern California Edison.
