Skier Vreni Schneider of Switzerland recorded her first World Cup victory of the season and 41st of her career in a slalom race at Maribor, Slovenia. Schneider was the fastest on both runs and finished with a combined time of 1 minute 39.11 seconds. Annelise Coberger of New Zealand was second.
