The following are selected entries from the crime logs of local law enforcement agencies between Feb. 24 and March 1:
Glendale
Saint Elizabeth Road, 3600 block--Between Jan. 3 and 11, burglars stole two CD players, a camera, clock and phone equipment, valued at $1,375, from a house.
West Lexington Drive, 600 block--A coin collection valued at $2,500 and a briefcase and watch valued at $500 were stolen from a townhouse between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. Jan. 11.
South Mariposa Street, 1000 block--Two men with guns entered a house by claiming to be policemen, tied up the male resident, ransacked the rooms and stole $2,800 and a camera valued at $800 at 3:20 p.m. Jan. 11.
San Fernando Road, 5000 block--A woman reported seeing a man and woman breaking into a truck at 7 p.m. Jan. 11. She notified police, but the thieves fled with tools, valued at more than $900.
Isabel Street and Wilson Avenue--An armed man robbed a man and woman leaving a department store of a purse and wallet at 7:20 p.m. Jan. 11.
South Glendale Avenue, 1200 block--A burglar stole cigarettes valued at $1,859 from a liquor store Jan. 11 or 12.
East Garfield Avenue, 800 block--Burglars stole a watch valued at $4,000 and stereo, skis and telephone equipment, valued at $4,675, from a house between 8:30 a.m. and 5:50 p.m. Jan. 12.
East Colorado Street, 1100 block--Cigarettes valued at $1,800 were stolen from a liquor store at 3:58 a.m. Jan. 13.
North Glendale Avenue, 500 block--Cameras, radios and TVs valued at $654 were stolen from a drugstore at 3:59 a.m. Jan. 13.
West Glenoaks Boulevard, 1600 block--Patio furniture valued at $1,400 was stolen from a yard Jan. 13 or 14.
East Mountain Street, 800 block--Jewelry and other items were stolen from a house between 8:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. Jan. 14.
Oak Street, 400 block--Thieves stole a roll of wire, valued at $3,600, from a construction site Jan. 14 or 15.
East Chevy Chase Drive, 2800 block--Burglars stole a metal safe that contained $200 and old coins of unknown value from a house between 9:20 a.m. and 12:50 p.m. Jan. 15.
West Glenoaks Boulevard, 1200 block--A woman at a dry cleaner was robbed at gunpoint of $700 or $800 by a man at 6:50 p.m. Jan. 15.
North Orange Street, 500 block--A man robbed two ticket clerks at a movie theater of $410 at 10:20 p.m. Jan. 15.
West Maple Street, 100 block--A man attempting to break into a construction company’s offices was arrested at 2:10 a.m. Jan. 17.
La Canada/Flintridge
Foothill Boulevard, 2100 block--A liquor store was broken into Jan. 12 or 13, and $1,000 was stolen.
Foothill Boulevard, 600 block--A female clerk at a book and toy store was robbed at gunpoint of $125 by two men at noon Jan. 13.
Foothill Boulevard, 400 block--Thieves stole 75 cartons of cigarettes valued at $1,365 from a liquor store at 3:15 a.m. Jan. 15.
La Crescenta
Harmony Place, 2500 block--Tools valued at $554 were stolen from a truck Jan. 11 or 12.
Atwater Village
San Fernando Road, 2000 block--Thieves pried security bars off a house and broke the window Jan. 11 or 12, but were unable to gain entry.
Cypress Park
Meadowvale Avenue, 2200 block--A man posing as a Department of Water and Power employee stole money and video equipment valued at $620 during a supposed house inspection at 11 a.m. Jan. 11.
Fernleaf Street, 2300 block--Three men in a vehicle pointed a gun at a man on the street and robbed him of his jacket, valued at $60, at 9 a.m. Jan. 12.
Blake Avenue, 1300 block--Two men jumped a man walking on the sidewalk at 12:20 p.m. Jan. 12 and took $265.
Dorris Place, 2300 block--Two men stole tools valued at $1,500 from a yard at 3 p.m. Jan. 12.
Figueroa Street, 2600 block--Burglars stole industrial equipment valued at $6,520 from a business Jan. 12 or 13 .
Eagle Rock
Waldo Place, 5300 block--Tools and a new oven, valued at $1,270, were stolen from a house Jan. 11 or 12.
Lunsford Avenue, 5200 block--A shotgun, firearms and computer equipment valued at $3,045 were stolen from a house between 7 a.m. and 4:40 p.m. Jan. 12.
Figueroa Street, 7000 block--A mini-market clerk was robbed at gunpoint of $150 at 4:45 p.m. Jan. 16.
Echo Park
Fountain and Bates avenues--A boy walking to school was robbed of clothing and a radio valued at $175 at 7:50 a.m. Jan. 12 by three men who reportedly had a handgun in their car.
Bartlett and Beaudry avenues--A man knocked down a woman and snatched her purse and wallet, valued at $95, at 9:30 a.m. Jan. 12.
McDuff Street and Laveta Terrace--Two men assaulted a man on the street with a pipe and robbed him of $100 at 9 a.m. Jan. 16.
Highland Park
North Figueroa Street, 5100 block--Two men with a revolver knocked a mini-market clerk to the ground and robbed him of $200 at 9:40 p.m. Jan. 10.
Sycamore Park Drive, 100 block--Three men robbed a motorist at gunpoint of $95 at 5:45 p.m. Jan. 11.
Figueroa and Roy streets--A man walking on a sidewalk was robbed of jewelry and clothing, valued at $265, by four men who had a machine gun at 11:40 a.m. Jan. 13.
York Boulevard, 5500 block--A gunman robbed a business employee of $120 at 8:30 p.m. Jan. 13.
North Figueroa Street, 5400 block--Two men with a gun forced a man in a parking lot to hand over his car keys at 6:10 p.m. Jan. 13, then stole his vehicle.
West Avenue 44, 100 block--Tools valued at $1,880 were stolen from a garage on Jan. 14 or 15.
Meridian Street, 700 block--Two men threatened a man on the sidewalk with an air pistol and robbed him of a radio and clothing, valued at $65, at 1:45 p.m. Jan. 15.
Milwaukee Avenue, 1000 block--A man entered a house through a window, pointed a gun at the occupant’s head and robbed him of $500 at 2:45 a.m. Jan. 17.
Glassell Park
Cleland Avenue, 4500 block--Burglars stole recorded music, valued at $3,750, from a house between 7:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. Jan. 11.
Hines Drive, 2500 block--Money and a TV, valued at $3,940, were stolen from a garage between 8:15 a.m. and 4 p.m. Jan. 13.
Nordica Drive, 900 block--Money and jewelry, valued at $4,930, were stolen from a truck Jan. 13 or 14.
Carlyle Place, 2300 block--Jewelry and money, valued at $6,945, were stolen from a house between 6:45 a.m. and 9:30 p.m. Jan. 15.
Los Feliz
Vermont Avenue and Vermont Place--A man got out of a car driven by a woman and snatched a woman’s purse as she walked down the street at 4:05 p.m. Jan. 11.
Tracy and Talmadge streets--A man with a knife robbed a man of his jacket, valued at $150, after the victim said he had no money at 8:30 p.m. Jan. 11.
Finley Avenue, 4600 block--Thieves ransacked an apartment and stole jewelry and camera equipment valued at $4,490 between 8:50 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. Jan. 12.
Kenmore Avenue, 1800 block--A person in an apartment elevator was robbed of $90 by two men with a handgun at 9:50 p.m. Jan. 12.
Cumberland Avenue, 3900 block--Three men robbed a pizza deliveryman at knifepoint of money and jewelry, valued at $700, at 7:30 p.m. Jan. 13.
West Sunset Boulevard, 4400 block--Supplies and equipment, valued at $893, were stolen from a hair salon Jan. 12 or 13.
Ambrose Avenue, 4500 block--A man pushed a woman to the ground and robbed her of her purse and money, valued at $185, at 1:15 a.m. Jan. 15.
Talmadge Street, 1700 block--Two men assaulted a woman and robbed her of her purse and wallet, valued at $261, at 1 p.m. Jan. 15.
Hoover Street, 1500 block--Four men robbed a man on the street of jewelry and clothing, valued at $305, at 3:15 p.m. Jan. 15.
Waverly Drive, 2900 block--A woman seated in her vehicle was robbed at gunpoint of her wallet, valued at $10, by two men at 9:55 p.m. Jan. 15.
Sunset Boulevard and Sanborn Avenue--A man getting into his vehicle at 11:30 p.m. Jan. 15 was robbed of his wallet, containing $110, by a man who jumped into his car and grabbed it.
Hillhurst Avenue and Los Feliz Boulevard--A woman with a revolver robbed a man of $200 at 5:10 p.m. Jan. 17, and attempted to take his vehicle, but fled on foot.
Silver Lake
Brunswick Avenue, 3700 block--Burglars ransacked a house and stole money and jewelry, valued at $2,500, between 5:30 a.m. and 1:45 p.m. Jan. 11.
West Sunset Boulevard, 3700 block--A man broke into one store and was tunneling into the liquor store next door at 3 a.m. Jan. 12 when police apprehended him.
Griffith Park Boulevard, 2000 block--Two men with a knife robbed a man in an underground parking lot of money and jewelry, valued at $600, at 6:45 a.m. Jan. 12.
Fountain Avenue, 4200 block--Two male juveniles with a gun forced a man waiting to cross the street to give up his jacket, valued at $130, at 9:40 a.m. Jan. 13.
Sunset Boulevard, 4200 block--A man with a gun robbed a store clerk of $370 at 7:55 p.m. Jan. 14.
Fargo Street, 2300 block--Burglars stole firearms and video equipment, valued at $1,380, from a house between 9:30 a.m. and 9:41 p.m. Jan. 14.
Alvarado and Branden streets--A woman’s car was carjacked by two men with a handgun at 12:25 a.m. Jan. 15.
Brunswick Avenue, 3800 block--Thieves ransacked one room of a house and stole money and jewelry, valued at $8,980, between 7:20 a.m. and 4 p.m. Jan. 15.
