Hilburn missed one of music’s biggest names, whose chances of future induction into the rock Hall of Fame is 95% or more. Neil Diamond should be on the list.
It hurt this fan to read the article and not find Diamond’s name. He’s without a doubt one of music’s best songwriters and concert performers, touring the world for four decades. Diamond sells out arenas and continues to set records for attendance. Millions all over the globe recognize his awesome talent for singing and writing beautiful music.
Hilburn’s failure to mention Diamond shows he hasn’t done his homework. It’s about time the press wakes up and realizes that the King is alive. Neil Diamond’s beautiful noise is indeed Hall of Fame material.
