Tiffany Woosley made four free throws in the final six seconds as No. 2 Tennessee rallied and held off top-ranked Vanderbilt, 73-68, in Nashville, Tenn., ending the Commodores’ 17-game winning streak.

Shelley Jarrard, who led all scorers with 19 points, brought the Commodores (17-1, 5-1 in the Southeastern Conference) to within 69-68 with 36 seconds to play on her third three-pointer of the half. But Vanderbilt got no closer when Woosley’s free throws sealed the victory for Tennessee (18-1, 6-0).

The victory is the third for the Lady Vols this season in No. 1 vs. No. 2 matchups. Tennessee beat then-No. 1 Stanford the first week of the season and again two weeks later.
