DOOMED TO SUCCESS: A publicist for Rob Liefeld of Fullerton, creator of the “Youngblood” comic book, calls him “the hottest cartoonist around.” Here’s a little something to back that up: Liefeld has just signed with Steven Spielberg to produce a science-fiction adventure movie called “Doom’s IV” and create the main character. . . . It’s almost certain to mean more big bucks for the 24-year-old cartoon wizard: He gets to come up with a line of comic books from the movie.
