WOMEN’S BASKETBALL ROUNDUP : Easterly Leads USC Past Oregon

Joni Easterly scored 15 of her 26 points in the second half, and Lisa Leslie added 20 points and eight rebounds to lead No. 16 USC to an 80-61 victory over Oregon on Thursday night in a Pacific 10 Conference game at Eugene, Ore.

Nicky McCrimmon added 14 points and six assists for the Trojans (15-5 overall, 9-2 in the Pac-10), who have won four games in a row. Oregon (6-13, 0-10) has lost 11 consecutive games.

Oregon State 71, UCLA 68--Tanja Kostic scored 26 points and grabbed eight rebounds to lead the Beavers (11-8, 5-5) to a Pac-10 victory over the Bruins at Corvallis, Ore.

Natalie Williams had 21 points and 14 rebounds for UCLA (10-9, 5-5).

Pacific 75, CS Long Beach 55--Melissa Gower scored 24 points for the 49ers (5-13, 4-7), but Shannon Reed had 17 to lead six players who scored in double figures for the Tigers (13-6, 6-5) in a Big West Conference game at Stockton.
