Rare Byrd to Make an Appearance in Newport

Stanley Bercovitz of Newport Beach will have a special guest in his living room Saturday at 4 p.m. Former Byrds leader and Rock ‘n’ Roll Hall of Fame member Roger McGuinn will perform a one-hour acoustic concert for Bercovitz, the winner of a random drawing for KLSX’s (97.1-FM) living room concert contest. Bercovitz will invite 20 guests for the best seats in the house--his house--to hear McGuinn. The station’s Jim Ladd will act as host.
