The following are selected entries from the crime logs of local law enforcement agencies between Feb. 8 and 14:
Glendale
East Broadway, 900 block--A gift shop was burglarized Feb. 8. Clothing and money were stolen.
Portola Avenue, 700 block--A woman’s purse and contents, valued at $450, were snatched off a lawn by a roller skater as the woman was loading her child and a stroller into a car at 4 p.m. Feb. 10.
West Loraine Street, 300 block--A townhouse was broken into and ransacked between 8 a.m. and 7 p.m. Feb. 10, and golf clubs, a TV, VCR, computer and printer, fax machine and scanner, valued at more than $15,700, were stolen.
Millar Drive, 1400 block--Burglars broke the window of a house and stole two VCRs, valued at $412, and a TV and jewelry of unknown value between 6 a.m. and 7:15 p.m. Feb. 12.
Piedmont Avenue, 2700 block--Jewelry valued at $4,550 was stolen from an apartment between 6:45 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Feb. 12.
Verdugo Road and Colorado Street--Six juveniles were arrested on suspicion of spray-painting a billboard at 11:35 p.m. Feb. 12.
Manhattan Avenue, 2800 block--A man reported that between Feb. 12 and 14 burglars stole stereo equipment and records, valued at $2,636, from his home.
Lexington Drive and Glendale Avenue--A tourist walking on the street at 2 a.m. Feb. 13 was robbed at gunpoint of $650 by two men.
La Canada/Flintridge
Sunnybank Drive, 2100 block--A gun, two TVs, a VCR and two compact disc players valued at $1,900 were stolen from a house between 9:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. Feb. 10.
Hampton Road, 4800 block--Burglars broke into a house between 3 and 5 p.m. Feb. 10 and stole jewelry, valued at $1,850, and silver candlestick holders, valued at $600.
La Crescenta
Abella Street, 3100 block--A woman reported Jan. 25 that her wedding ring, valued at $970, had been stolen from her room while two painters were working on her house.
Marellen Avenue, 4600 block--Thieves pried open a sliding glass door and stole $700 between 10 a.m. and 10 p.m. Feb. 10.
Atwater Village
Garden Avenue, 3100 block--Burglars entered a house through an open side window and stole video and camera equipment, valued at $943, between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. Feb. 9.
Cypress Park
Huron Street, 2600 block--A dog valued at $1,000 was snatched from a man’s arms by another man who fled in a car at 4 p.m. Feb. 12.
Elmgrove Street, 2200 block--Cameras and video equipment, valued at $1,800, were stolen from a house between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. Feb. 14.
Eagle Rock
Colorado Boulevard, 1600 block--Cigarettes valued at $5,000 were stolen from a liquor store at 4:05 a.m. Feb. 8.
Floristan Avenue, 4900 block--Burglars stole firearms and money, valued at $2,030, from a house between 11:30 a.m. and 5:25 p.m. Feb. 8.
Townsend Avenue, 5000 block--Tools valued at $1,530 were stolen from a garage on Feb. 9 or 10.
Loleta Avenue, 5300 block--A man stealing jewelry from a house at 1:35 p.m. Feb. 10 was scared off by the victim.
Yosemite and Glacier drives--A woman was robbed of her gym bag and contents, valued at $95, by a man at 8:45 p.m. Feb. 11.
Echo Park
Morton Avenue, 1700 block--Three men robbed a person of money and food, valued at $99, and then fled in the victim’s car at 7:50 p.m. Feb. 8.
Westerly Terrace, 1200 block--Thieves kicked in the back door of a house and stole money and computer equipment, valued at $750, between 12:20 and 4:15 p.m. Feb. 9.
Webster Avenue, 1800 block--Jewelry and appliances valued at $2,450 were stolen from a house between 6 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Feb. 11.
McCollum Street, 1400 block--Thieves smashed a front window of a house and stole computer equipment and a TV, valued at $2,500, between 8 a.m. and 7:50 p.m. Feb. 11.
College Street and Beaudry Avenue--A man jumped out of a car in an alley and grabbed a purse, valued at $80, from a woman in a vehicle at 4:30 p.m. Feb. 13.
Glassell Park
Drew Street, 3400 block--A man in a vehicle was surrounded by four men and a woman and robbed of money and jewelry, valued at $1,178, at 4:30 a.m. Feb. 10.
Eagle Rock Boulevard, 3800 block--Thieves cut the lock on a storage shed door and stole a stereo and recorded music, valued at $1,475, on Feb. 10 or 11.
Verdugo Road, 4200 block--Money and a TV, valued at $1,814, were stolen from an apartment between Feb. 10 and 12.
Estara Avenue, 3200 block-Two men and two women were seen fleeing from an apartment where firearms and supplies, valued at $510, had just been stolen at 9 p.m. Feb. 11.
Highland Park
Eagle Rock Boulevard, 4400 block--A man in a vehicle robbed a fast-food worker at a drive-up window of $56 at 12:10 a.m. Feb. 9.
Piedmont Avenue, 6100 block--A man on the sidewalk was robbed by a gunman of money and a bag of groceries, valued at $115, at 10:55 p.m. Feb. 10.
Irvington Place, 5300 block--Video equipment and jewelry, valued at $2,700, were stolen from a house between 7:40 a.m. and 3:10 p.m. Feb. 11.
Nolden and Meridian streets--A man got out of a car at 3:35 p.m. Feb. 11 and robbed a woman on the street of clothing and other property, valued at $145.
Figueroa Street, 6400 block--A man ordered a soda and then robbed a fast-food clerk at gunpoint of $50 at 7:15 p.m. Feb. 11.
Church Street, 6300 block--A burglar entered a house through an open window and stole a stereo, valued at $1,800, between 5:30 and 7 p.m. Feb. 11.
York Boulevard, 5800 block--A man with a revolver robbed a fast-food restaurant worker of $200 at 2:05 p.m. Feb. 12.
Avenue 59 and El Mio Drive--Three men with a handgun robbed a man on the street of his wallet, valued at $50, at 6:20 p.m. Feb. 12.
Figueroa Street and Avenue 56--A man placed a hard object to a person’s back and robbed the victim of $60 and a vehicle at 7:15 p.m. Feb. 14.
Los Feliz
Commonwealth Avenue, 2000 block--Three men with a gun robbed a woman of her purse and wallet, valued at $389, at 2 p.m. Feb. 8.
Finley Avenue, 4800 block--Burglars broke a hole in the sliding glass door of a house and stole jewelry and clothing, valued at $31,300, between 5:30 and 7:40 p.m. Feb. 12.
Tracy Street, 3700 block--A man hiding near a driveway jumped out and robbed a woman exiting her car of her purse and wallet, valued at $290, at 9:40 p.m Feb. 12.
Silver Lake
Corralitas Drive, 2500 block--Jewelry and video equipment, valued at $2,100, were stolen from a house between 8:45 a.m. and 6:40 p.m. Feb. 9.
Hoover Street and Gateway Avenue--A woman helping a man read an address was robbed at knifepoint by another man of her money and jewelry, valued at $800, at 1:45 p.m. Feb. 10.
Hawick Street and Silver Lake Boulevard--Three men demanded a woman’s purse at 12:30 p.m. Feb. 11; when she refused, they knocked her to the ground, pointed a gun and fled with the purse and wallet, valued at $117.
Glendale Boulevard, 1700 block--Burglars pried iron bars from the window of a factory and stole industrial equipment, valued at $14,100, between 5:30 and 11:30 p.m. Feb. 11.
Greensward Road, 3400 block--Thieves smashed the window of a house, ransacked it and stole video and camera equipment, valued at $4,820, between 6:45 a.m. and 6:15 p.m. Feb. 12.
Myra and Del Mar avenues--Two men robbed a man at gunpoint of his wallet, valued at $51, at 12:15 a.m. Feb. 13.
Hyperion Avenue, 1800 block--Thieves used bolt cutters to break into an auto repair shop on Feb. 13 or 14, where tools and a vehicle, valued at $5,000, were stolen.
