ENCINO : Forum to Feature Council Candidates

A forum featuring candidates running for election in the Los Angeles City Council’s 3rd District will be held Tuesday at 7 p.m. in Encino.
The two-hour event, sponsored by the Encino Park Improvement Committee, will include incumbent Councilwoman Joy Picus and challengers Laura Chick, Mort Diamond, Bob Gross, Chuck Nixon and Dennis Zine.
Estheranne Billings, Encino Park Improvement Committee president, will moderate the event, which will be held in the auditorium of the Fred S. Lull Special Education Center, 17551 Miranda St.
