UCLA nose guard Bruce Walker, charged with two misdemeanor weapons violations, had his pretrial hearing continued to March 17 in Beverly Hills, while investigators determine if Walker’s fingerprints are on the gun he was charged with carrying.
Walker and teammate Kevin Williams were arrested last month after Beverly Hills police found a loaded handgun in the vehicle that Williams was driving during a routine traffic stop. They were charged with possession of a concealed firearm in a vehicle and carrying a loaded firearm in a vehicle. Williams pleaded no contest to the weapons charges on Feb. 9 and was sentenced to two years unsupervised probation and fined $405.
