Glendora : Parking Capacity Increased
Eighty-two parking spaces will be added to a park-and-ride facility in the city, bringing capacity to 190 slots, Caltrans announced.
The project at the lot at Grand Avenue and the Foothill Freeway (210) will support additional ride sharing when the car-pool lane opens on the freeway in mid-1994, Caltrans said.
The project, which will cost $178,000, is expected to be completed by May.
There are 99 Caltrans park-and-ride lots in 54 communities in Southern California. The lots provide a staging area where commuters meet to share rides or catch a bus.
