Dana Hills’ Adara Newidouski has committed to play basketball at Cal State Long Beach next season.
Newidouski, a 5-foot-10 forward, chose Long Beach over Hawaii. She averaged 16.1 points and 9.5 rebounds a game last season for the Dolphins (12-9). She is Dana Hills’ all-time leading scorer.
El Toro volleyball player Amber Woodcock has signed a letter of intent with Boise State.
Woodcock, a 6-foot-2 middle blocker, chose Boise State over Cal State Northridge and UC Irvine because of its pre-veterinarian program.
As a junior, Woodcock played on El Toro’s State Division I championship team and was a second-team all Southern Section selection. She was an all-South Coast League pick as a senior.
