Wild Harmony survived two foul claims and posted a 2 3/4-length victory in the $50,000 allowance feature at Santa Anita on Friday.

Kent Desormeaux, who won five of the eight races he rode, finished fourth aboard 10-1 shot Magnificent Red in the feature. He and Jim Dotson, trainer of second-place finisher Due To The King, both lodged a claim of foul against Wild Harmony for alleged interference soon after the start.

But stewards ruled Wild Harmony did not interfere enough to warrant disqualification.

Wild Harmony, carrying 114 pounds and Gary Stevens, covered the fast track in 1:09 2/5. The 4-year-old Kentucky-bred won his third consecutive race.

The winner paid $5.20, $3.20 and $2.60. The victory, worth $27,500, increased Wild Harmony’s career earnings to $147,232.

Due To The King, ridden by Brian Eide, finished a nose in front of Apollo for second. Due To The King paid $11.60 and $4.80. Apollo, with Patrick Valenzuela aboard, returned $3.60.

Desormeaux’s five winners gave him 40 for the meet, moving him into second in the standings behind Stevens with 56.
