COLLEGE ROUNDUP : Ball State Beats UC Irvine in Volleyball
After losing the first two games, Ball State rallied to win the last three for a 6-15, 12-15, 15-10, 15-11, 15-11 victory over UC Irvine in a nonconference men’s volleyball match Monday at Irvine.
Alex Huang had 20 kills and Jeff Uhrig added 17 for Irvine (1-11). Jason Hinchman had 69 assists and Chad Milling had 11 kills and nine blocks for the Anteaters.
Todd Reimer had 28 kills for Ball State (9-5).
In nonconference women’s tennis:
Baylor 8, Cal State Fullerton 1--Roseann Alva was the lone winner for the Titans as she won at No. 1 singles, 2-6, 6-2, 6-4.
