Dolly Carl of Glendale was chosen by state Sen. Newton R. Russell (R-Glendale) as the 21st District “Woman of the Year,” an honor sponsored by the Women’s Caucus of the California Legislature.
Carl is a member of numerous civic groups including the YWCA board, the Red Cross board, the Glendale Verdugo Republican Assembly, Friends of the Library and Glendale Chamber of Commerce.
This is the seventh year for the award, in which women from each Assembly and Senate district in the state are honored.
