GREEN, GREEN: When you see your first baseball game at Anaheim Stadium this season, believe your eyes. The grass really is greener. . . . General Manager Greg Smith, noticing that the grass on the field seemed dull last baseball season, decided to investigate. He wound up replacing 105,000 square feet of grass last week with newer, more colorful sod--at a cost of $70,000. “We replace every year after the motor-sport events, and we changed over to Santa Ana hybrid Bermuda. . . . It looks really nice.”
