‘Crying’ for a Change

Share

We have just seen “The Crying Game”--six Academy Award nominations! For what? Every other word in conversation is obscene. Disgusting! The rest of the talk can’t be understood.

We also saw the “Unforgiven”--nine Academy Award nominations! For what? A dark, dull, violent movie. What’s with you critics?

Let’s take “A Few Good Men.” Tom Cruise did a wonderful job and wasn’t even mentioned. Jack Nicholson did his usual wonderful acting job (let’s forget “Hoffa”). Rob Reiner is a very talented director. This was an enjoyable movie.
