100 Businesses Will Take Part in Job Fair

About 100 businesses will converge on a job fair at the Orange County Fairgrounds in Costa Mesa on Wednesday in search of new employees.

Representatives from finance, retail, social services, hotel, entertainment and technology industries will attend the job fair, including Equitable Financial Services, Marriott Corp., Westec Security, the Broadway, Century 21 and AT&T.;

Government agencies including the County of Orange, the Federal Aviation Administration, the Fullerton Police Department and the U.S. Forest Service will also interview potential employees.

The event will run from noon to 7 p.m. and is sponsored by the job placement offices of Orange County’s community colleges. It is free and open to the public.

Unemployed people are encouraged to attend.
