Dolphins Get Fryar for Patriot Draft Picks

With free agent Mark Clayton threatening to go elsewhere, the Miami Dolphins fortified their receivers Thursday by acquiring Irving Fryar from the New England Patriots in exchange for draft choices.
Fryar, 30, a nine-year veteran, signed a three-year deal for a reported $4.2 million. Last month, Miami signed former New York Giant receiver Mark Ingram to a three-year, $4-million contract.
