Darrell Walker of the Chicago Bulls was suspended for one game and fined $10,000 and Bill Laimbeer of the Detroit Pistons, in his third disciplinary action this season, was fined $12,000 as the result of a bench-clearing scuffle.

The Bulls’ Scott Williams was fined $6,000 for taking part in the incident Monday night.

Walker was suspended for leaving the bench while not in uniform and attempting to fight with Laimbeer after Williams and Laimbeer tangled with 5:05 to play in the second quarter of the Bulls’ 98-95 victory.

Walker is currently on the Bulls’ injured list because of a muscle strain in his lower back, and his suspension will be served after his return to the active roster.
