King Trial Outcome
Following the verdicts, it was sadly amusing watching the field reporters from our local TV channels searching in vain for a bad reaction somewhere. One reporter quoted an unnamed person as having said something like “this (verdict) will create a rebirth in L.A.” The reporter went on to say there was no news to keep her out on the street much longer. What greater news could L.A. receive than a “rebirth”?
The TV news organizations proved once again that they really are the “Bad News Bears.” They evidently believe that the old adage “no news is good news” is wrong.
