Fight Night: In these days, tough times can mean rolling with the punches.

NAIOP, the Assn. for Commercial Real Estate, hosts its third annual Night at the Fights on Thursday at the Hyatt Regency in Irvine. The bouts, featuring California welterweight champ John Armijo defending his title, will raise money for the association’s Orange County chapter. The group engages in battles of its own, arguing for real estate interests before local, state and federal lawmakers. (The group was formerly named the National Assn. of Industrial and Office Parks.) About 500 real estate honchos are expected to attend the event.
