HOME RUN: Orange County has become cosmopolitan enough to support foreign-language theaters, and they’re doing well. . . . Thu Do (“Capital”) Cinemas in Little Saigon struggled for most of their two years, but they hit it big last December when the Oscar-winning, French-made Vietnam epic “Indochine” came to town. Drawing large, mostly Vietnamese crowds, the film ran for 18 weeks. . . . When the run closed last month, theater operator Steven Tran handed his distributor a check for more than $50,000. “They expected less than $5,000,” he says.
