A young Pomona man was arrested after he and two others in a stolen car allegedly tried to run a woman motorist off a freeway early Tuesday, then followed her home, authorities said.

Henry Anthony Corrales, 18, was booked on suspicion of attempted robbery, kidnaping and assault with a deadly weapon, said Los Angeles County sheriff’s Lt. Robert Sedita. Two other men believed with him at the time of the incident remained at large, he said.

After arriving home early Tuesday, a 30-year-old San Dimas woman reported to authorities that she had been followed by the occupants of a white Chevrolet Monte Carlo that had tried to run her car off a road, Sedita said.

Deputies spotted the car, but it sped south on the Orange Freeway before colliding with two other vehicles as it neared the Pomona Freeway interchange, Sedita said. The car came to rest in a dirt embankment and the three occupants ran away, he said. Corrales was arrested in the area.
