Herbert S. Hazeltine Jr.; Co-Founded Law Firm
Herbert S. Hazeltine Jr., 86, who co-founded the Los Angeles law firm of Adams, Duque & Hazeltine. A native of Huntington Beach, Hazeltine was educated at Los Angeles High School, Stanford University, and Harvard Law School. He interrupted his 60-year law career during World War II to serve in the Navy. After the war, he joined Earl Adams and Henry Duque to create the law firm. He was a USC trustee and member of its Board of Counselors, and served on the Southern California boards of the Red Cross and the Boys Club. On Sunday in Santa Barbara.
