Fire Causes $200,000 in Damage to Auto Shop
GLENDALE —
An automotive-repair shop suffered extensive damage in a two-alarm blaze, fire officials said Saturday.
Glendale firefighters responded shortly before 11:30 p.m. Friday to reports of a fire at Nova Automotive in the 400 block of Fernando Court. The blaze was extinguished in about 40 minutes.
No injuries were reported in the fire, the cause of which is under investigation. Damage to the single-story building and its contents was estimated at $200,000, officials said.
