Quiles, Luna Top Irvine Fight Card
Ricky Quiles, a talented lightweight from San Diego, is featured in tonight’s main event in the monthly boxing program at the Irvine Marriott.
Quiles (22-2) takes on Naty Luna (21-4) of Mexico.
Anaheim’s Daniel Dancuta, a heavyweight who is gaining popularity with every bout, is also featured. Dancuta (5-0 with four knockouts) will fight James Broad of Las Vegas.
At one time Broad (23-9, 15 knockouts) was ranked third by the World Boxing Assn.
The first of five scheduled bouts starts at 7:30 p.m. and tickets go on sale at the main ballroom of the hotel at 10 a.m.
