Kristie Camp of Agoura High, one of the region’s top 800-meter runners for the past three years, will continue her running career at Arkansas.

Camp, who has personal bests of 2 minutes 13.21 seconds in the 800 and 4:40.83 in the 1,500, took recruiting trips to Brigham Young and Arkansas before choosing the Southeastern Conference school.

Camp, who finished eighth in the 800 in last year’s state championships, is the second runner from Agoura to make a commitment to Arkansas this year and the third since 1991.
