Woman Employee Kills Two, Self at Business
A disgruntled 51-year-old woman employee shot and killed two co-workers at a business in South Los Angeles and then killed herself Wednesday afternoon, police said.
“We have no idea of her motive or what set it off,” Los Angeles Police Officer Don Cox said.
Police would not immediately identify the shooting victims, but witnesses said they were a 37-year-old man and a 34-year-old woman, one of whom was a supervisor.
The shootings occurred at the Electric-Cords Co. in the 700 block of West Redondo Beach Boulevard near the Gardena border.
