Ventura County Crime Stoppers is seeking information on a series of “smash-and-grab” robberies in Thousand Oaks over the long Memorial Day weekend.

Thieves used rocks to break windows and glass doors at four businesses, from which they took computers, audio and video gear and other electronic equipment, said Sgt. Kitty Hoberg of the Ventura County Sheriff’s Department.

“The incidents are linked by the method of the crime,” Hoberg said. “Investigators believe that the same people are doing them.”
