Temple Isaiah of Newport Beach announced that soprano Gayle Royko Heuser will participate in its Sabbath services periodically. She is from Chicago, where she performed in several operas with the Chicago Opera Theater. She was a guest performer with the Rochester Philharmonic and is the recipient of special awards including the Frederick A. Chramer Award in Opera.

The temple’s Shabbat services are at 8 p.m. each Friday at 2401 Irvine Ave. For information on when Heuser will participate, call the temple office at (714) 548-6900.
