Man Stabbed in Northridge Dies

NORTHRIDGE — Los Angeles police were searching Monday for the killer of a man who was stabbed to death near a Northridge intersection.
The unidentified man, who appeared to be in his 30s, was found about 2:40 a.m. Monday near Tampa Avenue and Parthenia Street, Officer Kristin Traynor said. Paramedics took the man, who was stabbed in the upper torso, to a nearby hospital, where he died shortly after arrival.
Detectives knew no motive for the slaying and had arrested no suspects by Monday afternoon.
