Neil McCarthy Takes New VP of Finance Job at Falcon

Cable-Ready: Neil McCarthy, who left Capitol-EMI Music as executive vice president amid a batch of executive changes at the label, is joining Falcon Holding Group in the new position of executive vice president of finance.
McCarthy, 44, is a former executive of Orion Pictures, where he was senior vice president of operations and finance. He also served as senior vice president of planning and control for Walt Disney Co.
Los Angeles-based Falcon owns and manages cable television systems in 27 states.
Polygram Special Markets named William R. Crowley vice president of sales development and Mark H. Spielman director of retail accounts.
Television programming distributor Worldvision Enterprises named Karen Miller senior vice president of programming.
She previously was vice president of programming for CBS Television Stations. Worldvision is a unit of Spelling Entertainment, which is controlled by video giant Blockbuster Entertainment.
Richard deGrandcourt, a former talent agency owner, has formed Pzazz Public Relations in Hollywood. His former clients include Rudy Vallee and Robert Cummings.
