Center Corey Millen, acquired by New Jersey from the Kings in a draft-day trade, has signed a multiyear contract with the Devils. The Devils exchanged a fifth-round draft choice June 26 for the 29-year-old Millen.

Free-agent winger Peter Douris, who spent the 1992-93 season with the Boston Bruins organization, has reportedly signed a three-year contract with the Mighty Ducks.

Douris played 19 games in the NHL last season, scoring four goals with four assists.

The Ducks wouldn’t confirm that Douris has signed, but sources said the team will be making a player announcement today. The Sporting News reported that Douris is getting a three-year contract worth $325,000, $350,000 and $350,000, figures that surprised Bruin General Manager Harry Sinden.
