CYPRESS : Whitehead Exhibit to Open Gallery Season

An impressionistic series of photographs by Los Angeles artist Duana Whitehead will open the Cypress College Photography Gallery’s 1993-94 season.
Whitehead employs a multiple-exposure technique to give her color photographs of Echo Park an abstract quality, according to a gallery spokesman.
Whitehead’s work will be on display at Cypress College, 9200 Valley View St., from Aug. 16 to Sept. 17. The gallery is open from 8 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays and from 8 a.m. to noon on Fridays.
