PRO FOOTBALL / DAILY REPORT : RAMS : Bettis Is Still Under Wraps
Running back Jerome Bettis, the Rams’ first-round pick, continues to be shuffled between tailback and fullback as he prepares for his first full contact Saturday.
“I’m starting to really learn the offense and my runs are becoming crisper,” Bettis said. “Now I’m starting to see the holes and accelerate through them.”
Bettis is expected to play in a Saturday scrimmage against the Chargers at Cal State Fullerton.
