Delta Makes Flight More Simulating
ATLANTA — Delta Air Lines said it has invited thousands of its most frequent fliers to bid for 125 slots to fly a jet. Well, sort of.
Winners won’t leave the ground but will get the chance to join a flight crew in its pre-flight briefing and experience a flight simulator in exchange for accumulated frequent-flier miles, a spokesman said.
“All things considered, I’d rather take a real flight to Tahiti,” one Delta frequent flier said. “The flight simulator would be cool, but so (are) first-class tickets and a week on the beach.”
