PRO FOOTBALL / DAILY REPORT : RAIDERS : A Better Look at Cowboys in Store

Share

After practicing for three days against the Dallas Cowboys two weeks ago, Raider Coach Art Shell expects a different opponent when the teams play Saturday night at Dallas.

“I’m sure that (Dallas Coach Jimmy Johnson) will have them ready to play,” Shell said. “They might not have all the people that they are going to have (during the regular season), but they will be ready.”

A possible addition for the Cowboys is quarterback Troy Aikman, who had been sidelined because of a back injury and returned to full-contact drills this week.

“I wouldn’t rule it out completely,” Johnson said. “I would say 99% right now that I’ll hold him out. He did practice (Wednesday), and he’s going through everything in practice. I’m really not going to decide when to put him in until that day comes.”
