COLLEGE FOOTBALL / DAILY REPORT : UCLA : Tailback Shah Hopes to Return Sept. 18
Tailback Sharmon Shah, who underwent arthroscopic surgery to remove cartilage from his left knee last Wednesday, said he hopes to return for the Nebraska game on Sept. 18 at the Rose Bowl.

Shah, a 5-foot-10, 185-pound sophomore who rushed for 124 yards and one touchdown last season, had been expected to contend for a starting job this season before his injury.
