Armed Men Rob Sewing Factory Staff
A band of armed men broke into a Sun Valley sewing factory Friday afternoon, robbing employees and stealing several sewing machines before they escaped, police said.
Five or six men carrying guns entered G&M; Sewing Contractors in the 8000 block of North Lankershim Boulevard at about 4 p.m. They made off with about 10 sewing machines, said Sgt. Frank Reynoso of the Foothill Division of the Los Angeles Police Department.
No one was hurt in the robbery, Reynoso said.
