Bellflower : Council Appoints Lowry City Administrator
After nearly five months, acting City Administrator Linda C. Lowry has been hired as the city’s chief executive. She replaces former City Administrator Jack A. Simpson, who retired after a reported power struggle with the City Council.
The City Council unanimously approved Lowry’s selection this week. She will be paid $84,000 a year. She had been assistant city administrator before Simpson retired.
