FULLERTON : College to Observe Latino Contributions
- Share via
Fullerton College is set to kick off a month of events on Sept. 15 to mark Hispanic Heritage Month.
The celebration is meant to honor the contributions that Latinos have made to American culture, politics and society.
Among the scheduled events is a display of books, art and posters with Latino themes. The display will be set up at the William T. Boyce Library, which will also host a special exhibit honoring Cesar Chavez, who fought to better the living conditions of poor people and farm workers. He died earlier this year.
Both exhibits are open to the public through Oct. 15.
