SIMI VALLEY : Reagan Library Free to Residents During Event
The Ronald Reagan Presidential Library is joining this month’s Simi Valley Days celebration by allowing Simi Valley residents to enter the library free from Sept. 16 through 19.
Library Director Ralph C. Bledsoe said the facility wanted to thank the community for its interest in the hilltop museum and archive collection since it opened in November, 1991.
Visitors will be asked to show a driver’s license or some other proof of Simi Valley residence, such as a utility bill, to gain free admission.
The library has periodically offered free admission to certain groups, including fathers on Father’s Day and mothers on Mother’s Day.
The library is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday and noon to 5 p.m. Sunday.
