Man Dies After Losing Control of Car on Freeway
A motorist died early Monday after his car ran off the Antelope Valley Freeway, California Highway Patrol officials said.
The man, whose name was withheld pending notification of relatives, was driving south on the freeway about 2:30 a.m. when he lost control of the car, Officer Stan Mullen said. The vehicle veered across the center divider and went over the embankment on the northbound side of the freeway near the Pearblossom Highway off-ramp.
The man died at the scene, Mullen said.
