PRO FOOTBALL / DAILY REPORT : RAIDERS : Do Browns Have<i> Anyone </i> Who’s Fit?

Coach Art Shell just laughed when asked about the 10 Cleveland Browns listed as questionable because of injuries for their game Sunday at the Coliseum.

“If you believe that,” Shell told reporters Thursday, “I’ve got some land I want to sell you.”

According to the NFL injury report released Thursday, the Browns were a beat-up team after their 23-13 victory over San Francisco on Monday night. Wide receiver Michael Jackson (jaw) was listed as probable. Linebacker David Brandon (hamstring), running back Randy Baldwin (knee), defensive linemen Michael Dean Perry (knee/ankle) and Rob Burnett (knee), offensive linemen Tony Jones (leg) and Houston Hoover (knee), and defensive backs Eric Turner (leg) and Najee Mustafaa (shoulder) were listed as questionable.

“Obviously, something is wrong,” Shell said. “I don’t believe that everyone listed is questionable to play.”

For the Raiders, running back Nick Bell, who has missed two games because of a hamstring injury, practiced Thursday but worked mostly with the second team. Linebacker Joe Kelly (leg), defensive back Elvis Patterson (quadriceps) and defensive tackle Chester McGlockton (foot) did not practice, along with Rocket Ismail (back) and Don Mosebar (chest).

Despite the Coliseum’s lower sellout figure of 67,802, Sunday’s game will still be blacked out because only 40,000 tickets have been sold before the NFL’s Thursday deadline.
