Pacific Palisades : Forum on School Choice
State Sen. Gary K. Hart (D-Santa Barbara) will address the first general fall meeting of the Palisades Education Complex at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at Palisades High School.
He will talk about school choice and the upcoming school voucher initiative, Proposition 174, as well as implementation of the new Charter School Act. Hart was the author of the law.
Assemblyman Terry Friedman (D-Brentwood) and Westside school board member Mark Slavkin will also speak.
